Your Best Buy to Get Started
Among agribusinesses that regularly conduct OSHA safety training, a single employee gets trained on roughly {{config.oshaMinimum + specClassReq}} topics a year. So, we’ll use that number.
This is enough for each employee to take the {{config.oshaMinimum}} Primary Safety Training classes, plus another {{specClassReq}} Specialized Safety Training classes, as necessary.
Primary vs. Specialized: What's the difference?
A single employee’s registration fee for each class is typically 25 credits
Therefore, this is our credit-buy recommendation for your agribusiness:
Your {{calculator.userAccounts | number}} employees x {{config.oshaMinimum + specClassReq}} classes each x {{typicalClassCredits}} credits per class = {{neededCredits() | number}} total credits.
At {{tieredAmountPerCredit(neededCredits()) | currency}} per credit, your total credit purchase would be {{creditTotal(neededCredits()) | currency}}

Identify Your Training Needs
Important: If OSHA compliance is your goal, you will want to:
- Have all of your employees take the {{config.oshaMinimum}} Primary Safety Training classes. Why?
- Have every employee who, at any given time, will be performing a specialized activity in your operation, take the corresponding Specialized Safety Training class.
- Keep OSHA’s General Duty Clause in mind. While not every topic below has a designated OSHA regulation, under its General Duty Clause, OSHA can cite a workplace for any injury that happens due to a practice commonly known to have a degree of danger. Take ATV safety, for example. There is no official regulation, but common sense says the activity can cause injury.
